The OINP issued invitations to apply in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

On May 11, 2021, the government of Ontario issued invitations to apply (ITAs) to 81 candidates in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The OINP issued ITAs to candidates with a score of 31 and above. The candidates had work experience in the following national occupational codes (NOC):
Health care occupations

3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
3112 – General practitioners and family physicians
3121 – Optometrists

Since March 2020, the Canadian-American border has been closed to all non-essential travel, such as tourism and overseas recreation. Restricted non-essential travel across the US-Canada land borders will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 21, 2021, which is expected to be extended on May 21. New Brunswick introduced new guideline for the Skilled Worker and Express Entry Streams

On May 10, 2021, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) released updated official guidelines for the Skilled Worker and Express Entry streams. The updated guides include minor changes. The province keeps targeting workers with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy. All applicants must show their intention to reside and work in New Brunswick. In 2021, New Brunswick admitted 490 immigrants and 295 of them were granted permanent residence under the NBPNP.
