On January 28, 2021, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) has started the Foreign Graduate Start-Up Visa Stream (FGSVS). IRCC updated instructions about accessibility at citizenship ceremonies

On January 28, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a new program delivery update regarding accessibility at citizenship ceremonies. The instructions now include links to the audio versions of the citizenship oath and the ordering instructions for the braille version of Discover Canada. This will help clients with the oath-taking at a citizenship ceremony. Additionally, instructions now specify the use of the Accompanying Person Declaration and Interpreter’s Oath form.

On January 28, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #107, MPNP issued 178 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 518 points, 57 points more compared to draw #106. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 17 LAAs.
