On August 13, 2020, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #96, Manitoba issued 197 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score in this category was 485 points, 10 higher compared to draw #95. In July, Ontario nominated 882 foreign nationals

On August 13, 2020, the Ontario provincial government released a new update of the number of nominations certificates issued by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Since the last update on July 9, the OINP issued 882 new certificates of the provincial nomination. In total, Ontario issued 4,814 nominations in 2020.
