On April 22, 2022, the Government of Canada updated the Ministerial Instructions (MIs), allowing officers to refuse to process overseas caregivers’ work permit applications received under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). British Columbia will support internationally educated nurses

British Columbia will invest $12 million to recruit internationally educated nurses.
