Fake COVID-19 tests will lead to fines

The federal government has reported that a fake COVID-19 test result can be fined up to $5,000. Those arriving in Canada will be required to provide information on where the test was taken. If the passenger cannot provide information or provide illegal documents, this will result in a fine. Air carriers can receive a fine of up to $25,000 if they allow a passenger to board a plane without the necessary documents and test results.
