Prince Edward Island encourages internationally educated nurses to complete RN Bridging Program

On November 18, 2021, Prince Edward Island (PEI) called nurses with international credentials to upgrade their qualifications and complete the Registered Nurse (RN) Bridging / Re-Entry Education Program to work as registered nurses in PEI. The RN Bridging Program helps nurses integrate into the Canadian healthcare system through a mixture of courses and practice work. Since the program began in 2019, a total of 19 nurses have completed the program. Nurses are eligible to get up to $3,750 in funding to cover their tuition. Nurses interested in the program are advised to contact the College of Registered Nurses of PEI (CRNPEI).
