Most of the popular study destinations English native countries. One should have a strong English to get entered into those countries if they are planning to study or settle abroad. IELTS, The International English Language Testing System is one of the world’s most popular English language test used for study, work and migration. Nowadays PTE Academic is getting more popular for Australian student visa and Immigration because it is fully automated and IELTS is manual. Moreover it doesn’t need to be booked months before and test results are also available within few days of the test. In European countries and Australia, IELTS is more popular while in the USA, TOEFL is more popular. All these tests have 4 modules Listening, Reading, Speaking and writing. However, IELTS is considered slightly more difficult than PTE and TOEFL.

All three tests are designed to test students’ English language, so they are alike in many ways but also unalike in many ways. TOEFL and IELTS are the most popular tests which are accepted by maximum institutions globally, while PTE is the new entrant in this field. The marking system and scoring system is little bit different from each other. Students should select a test which suits them to practice in terms of test structure and their comfort to prepare and perform for the same.
