Alberta invited another 148 candidates in the AINP
On June 12, 2020, Alberta released an update about the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) inventory. As of June 9, the province has 1,175 applications waiting for the eligibility assessment under the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS). In addition, AINP has about 300 Expression of Interest applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool. Applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream were received before March 25, 2020. The AINP released the results of the new Alberta Express Entry Stream draw. On May 27, 2020, the province issued 148 Notifications of Interest (NOI) and the lowest score of the round was 300 points. In total, Alberta already invited 1,746 Express Entry candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020.
