Alberta nominated another 48 candidates in the AINP
On October 14, 2020, Alberta released a new update of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) statistics. Since the last update on October 1, Alberta nominated another 48 individuals to apply for permanent residence. In total, Alberta nominated 3,768 foreign nationals in 2020. This means, AINP still can nominate 232 candidates to reach its goal of 4,000 nominations. As of now, the province received 1,700 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream that are waiting for the eligibility assessment. Those applications were submitted before April 22, 2020. In addition, there are 92 Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
