Application processing times in the SINP have been updated

On July 20, 2020, Saskatchewan updated the processing time of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) based on average times from April 1 to June 30, 2020. In the International Skilled Worker category, the processing time in the Employment Offer stream is 5 weeks, in the Occupation In-Demand stream – 31 weeks, and in the Express Entry stream – 28 weeks. In the Saskatchewan Experience category, the processing time in the Existing Work Permit Stream, the International Students stream, and the Health Professionals stream is 4 weeks. As for the Hospitality Workers stream, the processing time is 2 weeks and the Truck Drivers are processed in 5 weeks. In the Entrepreneur and Farm category, the processing time for the Entrepreneurs Nominations is 9 weeks, and 23 weeks for farmers. As for Entrepreneur Applications, there were too few applications processed to calculate the average processing time. The Job Approval Process, the authorization for an employer to hire a foreign worker through the SINP, takes 8 weeks. The processing times show the average time for 80% of applications to be processed.
