British Columbia invited 80 candidates in the first 2021 Tech Pilot draw
On January 12, 2021, the province of British Columbia invited 80 candidates in the first invitation round in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot. The government distributed invitations to apply for the nomination of BC in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. All invited candidates scored 80 points or higher in the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). In 2020, BC invited 2,168 Tech Pilot candidates. The province already invited 248 candidates under all streams of the BCPNP in 2021.
