British Columbia invited new candidates to apply for the nomination

On Jun 2, 2020, the government of British Columbia held a new draw in the Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). The provincial authorities invited 241 candidates in this round and the lowest scores reduced in three categories:

  • Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker 100
  • Skills Immigration – International Graduate 100 (-3 points)
  • Skills Immigration – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 81
  • Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker 105 (-5 points)
  • Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate 105 (-5 points)

British Columbia has excluded 31 NOCs from participation in this round (0621, 0631, 0632, 0651, 3236, 6211, 6311, 6313, 6321, 6322, 6341, 6421, 6511, 6512, 6513, 6521, 6522, 6523, 6524, 6525, 6531, 6532, 6533, 6562, 6564, 6611, 6621, 6711, 6721, 6722, and 6731). In total, BC invited 3,451 foreigners to apply for the provincial nomination in 2020.
