Canada announced a new update for the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership
On January 18, 2023, the Government of Canada announced a new update regarding the ratification of Malaysia of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Since November 29, 2022, Malaysia has been added as a new member of the CPTPP. In addition, the Canadian Government has updated instructions for skilled workers, business visitors, intra-corporate transferees, and technicians coming to Canada under the International Mobility Program (IMP) to reflect the new coding and language under the newly-implemented National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021.
