Canada invited 1,136 candidates under the International Experience Canada

The Government of Canada resumed random weekly draws for the International Experience Canada program starting September 13, 2021. Applicants who have applied for the Working Holiday program, are not required to obtain a job offer to get an invitation to apply (ITA). Over the last week, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of IEC. From September 13 to September 17, Canada invited 1,136 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of September 17, there are 27,058 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 1 ITA for Andorra, 70 ITAs for Australia, 5 ITAs for Austria, 16 ITAs for Belgium, 1 ITA for Costa Rica, 3 ITAs for Croatia, 28 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 11 ITAs for Denmark, 2 ITAs for Estonia, 324 ITAs for France, 52 ITAs for Germany, 6 ITAs for Greece, 6 ITAs for Hong Kong, 126 ITAs for Ireland, 26 ITAs for Italy, 21 ITAs for Japan, 68 ITAs for South Korea, 6 ITAs for Latvia, 11 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 17 ITAs for the Netherlands, 21 ITAs for New Zealand, 2 ITAs for Norway, 20 ITAs for Poland, 25 ITAs for Portugal, 14 ITAs for Slovakia, 3 ITAs for Slovenia, 31 ITAs for Spain, 43 ITAs for Sweden, 6 ITAs for Switzerland, 53 ITAs for Taiwan, and 117 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In total, Canada issued 20,341 ITAs under the IEC in 2021.
