Canada invited 529 provincial nominees in the new Express Entry round
On May 13, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry invitation round. In draw #145, IRCC issued Invitation to Apply (ITA) to 529 candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program. The cut-off score in this round was 718 points, 26 points more than in the previous PNP-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 19, 2020 at 12:53:21 UTC. As of May 12, 2020, there are 146,402 profiles registered in the pool, 691 profiles less compared to the previous update. The number of profiles in the pool keeps declining. In fourteen Express Entry draws of 2020, Canada invited 34,829 candidates to apply for Permanent Residence.
