Canada released a new program delivery update regarding CPTPP
On June 08, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a new program delivery update regarding the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). IRCC removed the note “Permanent residents of Australia and permanent residents of New Zealand may also qualify for temporary entry under the CPTPP” as this note is now specified under each sub-category. It also removed New Zealand from the Investor criteria – T50 CPTPP instructions and updated the Professionals and technicians – T52 CPTPP instructions to clarify the responsibilities of the employer submitting the job offer and provide more detailed info in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) section.
