Good news for family members of Canadians from CBSA
On June 8, 2020, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) published in a press release that starting June 9, immediate family members of Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be exempt from the COVID-19-related travel restrictions in the case they are visiting their relatives for a period of 15 days or more. This applies to spouses or common-law partners, dependent children, parents or stepparents, guardians or tutors. The new instructions do not apply to immediate family members of international students or foreign workers.
