Good news from World Education Services (WES)

Due to the pandemic of the COVID-19, WES changed some requirements for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) needed for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In order to facilitate processing documents, WES now allows applicants to submit only the highest degree credentials. This means that candidates who hold a Ph.D. can skip sending their Masters’ degree documents or if the highest degree of the applicant is Master’s, there is no need to send a bachelor’s degree for evaluation. This was announced by WES on December 1. The organization emphasized that if applicants send more than one credential, this will result in the delay of ECA preparation.
