International Applicants for the National Assessment Collaboration exam urge for the help

International medical students are now scared about flying into Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. The National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) is scheduled for Sep 12-13, 2020. It is a mandatory in-person exam for international medics and it is a requirement for those who plan to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Even though the physical part of the examination to assess clinical skills has been cancelled, candidates must attend in-person to describe verbally what they would do in various clinical situations. More than 900 people have signed a petition asking that the exam be moved to a future date, changed to an online format, or cancelled altogether. There are 10 testing centres in major Canadian cities, including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg for NAC tests.
