International students graduating from Canadian institutions are in demand in China

China has always been among the top three major sources of international students in Canada. According to a survey conducted by the market research agency Ipsos on Chinese students during the pandemic, Canadian Chinese students have the highest satisfaction and the best salaries. Satisfaction with Canadian universities is somewhat unexpected. According to data, 97% of international student respondents were satisfied with their overall study abroad experience, with doctoral and post-doctoral degree satisfaction being the highest, and master’s degree satisfaction being the lowest. Nearly 60% of Canadian international students are satisfied or very satisfied with their jobs after graduation and returning to China, while the UK, a popular study abroad country, has the lowest employment and salary scores. According to Statistics Canada, the average tuition fee for international students at the graduate level can be as low as $138,000.
