IRCC again held a PNP-targeted Express Entry draw
On July 22, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 557 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP-targeted draw. In round #156, the cut-off score was 687 points, 9 points fewer compared to previous PNP draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was November 11, 2019, at 08:51:21 UTC. As of July 19, 2020, there are 142,252 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 384 profiles less compared to the previous update. After holding the all-programs draw two weeks ago, IRCC returned to the COVID-19 practice of program-specific rounds of invitations. In twenty-three Express Entry draws in 2020, Canada issued 54,357 ITAs.
