IRCC issued 879 ITAs under the International Experience Canada
Over the last week, the Department of Immigration (IRCC) conducted new rounds of invitations in the pools of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. From May 31 to June 4, Canada issued 879 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for an IEC open work permit. As of June 4, there are 16,230 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 34 ITAs for Australia, 10 ITAs for Belgium, 23 ITAs for Chile, 12 ITAs for Costa Rica, 2 ITAs for Croatia, 41 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 20 ITAs for Denmark, 270 ITAs for France, 5 ITAs for Greece, 8 ITAs for Hong Kong, 122 ITAs for Ireland, 6 ITAs for Italy, 33 ITAs for Japan, 46 ITAs for South Korea, 18 ITAs for the Netherlands, 6 ITAs for New Zealand, 1 ITA for Norway, 9 ITAs for Portugal, 8 ITAs for Slovakia, 18 ITAs for Spain, 14 ITAs for Sweden, 5 ITAs for Switzerland, 14 ITAs for Taiwan, and 151 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In total, Canada issued 10,366 ITAs under the IEC in 2021.
