IRCC released a new update about travel restrictions
On June 12, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a new update about travel restrictions resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. These updates have been made to align with the coming into force of Order in Council 13 and Order in Council 14, regulating entry to Canada from abroad and from the USA, respectively. The new program delivery instructions are aimed at improvement of family reunification for immediate family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The new updates also include more clarifications about the assessment of non-optional and non-discretionary travels.
