Man threatened to commit suicide seeking Canadian citizenship
Getting Canadian citizenship is the main goal of immigrants in Canada. A Sri Lankan man was arrested in front of an IRCC Office when he threatened to commit suicide. He said that he is being denied his Canadian citizenship for over one year, and he has been under detention on the pretext of mental illness. He demanded to know the reason for his detention. He had flammable liquid in a container and tried to commit suicide. The police took him into custody.
