Manitoba will spend $5 Million on immigration programs

On April 12, 2022, the Government of Manitoba announced that the province is planning to spend $5 Million “to strengthen immigration programming to help attract newcomers to Manitoba.” According to Manitoba’s BUDGET 2022: RECOVER TOGETHER, the province has developed a solid path to recovery from COVID-19 with strategic and significant investments in key priority areas. Currently, the province accepts immigrants under 4 immigration streams of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP): the Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas, International Education, and Business Investor Streams. In 2022, Manitoba has already invited 1,950 candidates.
