New Brunswick will host a virtual job fair
On December 1, 2020, New Brunswick announced that the provincial government will hold a virtual job fair for skilled trades. The province invites temporary workers, international students, and permit holders who currently reside in Canada to participate in the event. New Brunswick expressed a special interest in Welders and related machine operators (NOC- 7237), Electricians (NOC 7241), Plumbers (NOC 7251), Carpenters (NOC 7271), Bricklayers (NOC 7281), Cooks (NOC 6322), Construction Trades Helpers and Labourers (NOC 7611), Automotive Service Technician (NOC 7321), and Motor Vehicle Body Repairers (NOC 7322). Candidates do not need to meet Canadian licensing requirements to attend the job fair. The deadline for registration is January 28, 2021.
