Newfoundland and Labrador announced positions exempted from labour market testing
On December 3, 2020, the Newfoundland and Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism released a list of in-demand health occupations for public and private healthcare providers that are exempt from Newfoundland and Labrador’s labour market testing processes. This means these occupations do not need the Job Vacancy Assessment or Atlantic Immigration Pilot labour market testing requirements, such as advertising. In total there are 8 healthcare occupations: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Practice Nurse, Personal Care Attendant, Clinical Psychologist, Medical, Physicist, Radiation Therapist, and Dosimetrist.
