Newfoundland and Labrador eliminated immigration application fees
On April 13, 2022, Immigration, Population Growth and Skills of Newfoundland and Labrador eliminated fees under the Provincial Nominee Program as a response to the tremendous benefit newcomers bring to the province. The province removed the $250 application fee for skilled workers and the $1,000 application fee for entrepreneurs. The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism will also provide free services to newcomers and employers and assist them with preparing and submitting applications under the Atlantic Immigration Program and the Provincial Nominee Program.
