Newfoundland and Labrador released a full guide to the Priority Skills Stream

On December 23, 2020, the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism of Newfoundland and Labrador published a full guide to the Priority Skills Stream of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP). The new stream will nominate candidates in two substreams – Academic and Work. The Academic substream will target Master and Ph.D. graduates of Memorial University who completed their studies in the past three years in one of the priority occupations. The Work substream is intended for foreign specialists possessing work experience in relevant in-demand occupations. The Priority Skills Stream will also be linked to Express Entry thus candidates who have Express Entry profiles will be able to apply for PR online. Other candidates will be able to submit the paper-based application to the IRCC. The NLPNP also released a points grid of the stream in the guide as well as the list of occupations in-demand.
