Nova Scotia announced changes to the NSNP
On December 11, 2020, the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration announced the changes in the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The province is going to completely close the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream of the NSNP. Category B of the stream is now closed permanently while Category A will be closed on January 4, 2021. According to NSNP, the Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream better performs its tasks and is more efficient to fulfil the provincial immigration needs. Candidates who planned to apply for the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream are encouraged to check their eligibility for other streams of the NSNP.
