Saskatchewan updated application processing times in the SINP

On October 30, 2020, Saskatchewan has updated the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) processing times. The new data is based on average times from July 1 to September 30, 2020. In the International Skilled Worker category, the processing time in the Employment Offer stream is 3 weeks, and 35 weeks for both the Occupation In-Demand and the Express Entry streams. In the Saskatchewan Experience category, the processing time in the Existing Work Permit Stream and the International Students Stream is 2 weeks; in the Health Professionals Stream, it is 4 weeks. As for the Hospitality Workers stream, the processing time is 2 weeks, and the Truck Drivers are processed in only 1 week. In the Entrepreneur and Farm category, the processing time for the Entrepreneurs Nominations is 17 weeks. There was not enough data to estimate processing times for Farmers Stream. The Job Approval Process, the authorization for an employer to hire a foreign worker through the SINP, takes 8 weeks. The processing times show the average time for 80% of applications to be processed
