The US – Canada land borders will remain closed until October 21
The Biden administration will keep land borders with Canada and Mexico closed until at least October 21, 2021. The US is planning to ease travel restrictions for fully vaccinated foreign nationals in November. To be eligible to enter the country, travellers will have to take a PCR test at least 72 hours before departure, as well as provide a negative result and proof of complete vaccination. While Canadians still cannot travel to the US, fully vaccinated Americans enter Canada from August 9.
