Travel restrictions have been extended for both international and US travels
The federal government has decided to continue the border closures for both international and US travels. For instance, the US-Canada border closure has extended until at least March 21, 2021. As for international travels, the government has extended those measures until April 21, 2021. This means travel restrictions will last over one year since the beginning of the global pandemic of the COVID-19. Ottawa outlined the details of those measures in the Minimizing the Risk of Exposure to COVID-19 in Canada Order. Nevertheless, essential workers and several categories of international students are still allowed in Canada.
