Travel restrictions remain in force until November 30

On October 30, 2020, the Federal government extended the policy of travel restrictions to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 until November 30, 2020. At the moment, most foreign nationals cannot travel to Canada. Nevertheless, Canada keeps allowing the entrance of several categories of exempt travellers such as family members of Canadians and permanent residents, international students, whose educational institutions have a COVID readiness plan and some foreign workers, authorized to work, and immigrants who received approval to make a landing in Canada. Visitors and tourists are not allowed to come to Canada. Travel restrictions were introduced on March 18 and since then, Canada extends them every month. The border with the United States will also remain closed until at least November 21.
