Who can enter Canada after January 15, 2022, being unvaccinated?
The Government of Canada will not allow unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers to enter Canada after January 15, 2022. This regulation is applicable even to those who were before exempted from travel restrictions. However, there are still limited exemptions for foreign nationals. Certain groups such as agricultural and food processing workers, marine crew members, individuals entering on compassionate grounds, new permanent residents, resettling refugees, and some children under the age of 18 will be allowed to enter Canada. To ensure the safety of Canadians, these travellers will be subject to testing, quarantine, as well as other entry requirements.
