On May 20, 2022, the Government of Canada updated the number of Ukrainian newcomers arriving in Canada under the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET). According to the latest update, between January 1 and May 15, 2022, 6,369 Ukrainians arrived in Canada by land, and an additional 25,832 arrived by air. On May 20, 2022, the Government of New Brunswick announced that the province has temporarily paused the New Brunswick Express Entry (NBEE) Stream. Effective immediately, no further letters of Interest (LOI) or Invitations to Apply (ITA) will be sent while the Stream is paused. Those applications submitted under the NBEE Stream on May 20, 2022, or later, will not be finalized until further notice. On May 20, 2022, the Government of Manitoba held the fourth draw for Ukrainian candidates. In this draw, the province invited 13 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
