In 2020, Canada welcomed 1,060 immigrants in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot
In the first half of 2020, Canada admitted 1,060 immigrants through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). New Brunswick keeps attracting the most immigrants in the AIPP in Maritimes. The province accepted 455 newcomers (42.9% of the total). Nova Scotia is slightly behind New Brunswick with 425 immigrants (40.1%). Newfoundland and Labrador welcomed 100 AIPP immigrants (9.4%).
